First Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition for middle and high school students. Teams design, build, and program robots to compete in a series of challenges. Learn more about this year's challenge here: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc.
Nobles Robotics is open to all high school students at Noble and Greenough School who are interested in robotics, programming, or engineering. No prior experience is required!
In FTC, you can learn a variety of skills including programming, mechanical design, electrical engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving. You'll also gain experience in project management and communication.
The team typically meets several times a week during the competition season, which runs from September to February. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed closer to competitions.
The competition season begins with the release of the annual challenge in September. Teams then design, build, and program their robots to complete the challenge. Competitions usually take place from November to February, culminating in regional and national championships.
